Bhailalbhai & Bhikhabhai Institute of Technology   (Polytechnic) is a grant-in-aid Polytechnic managed by Charutar Vidya Mandal,   Vallabh Vidyanagar. The institute was established in August 1958 with the intake   capacity of 60 each in conventional programmes like Civil, Mechanical &   Electrical Engg.. Later on institute has started new Diploma Programme in   Electronics & Communication in 1985 with 60 intakes and Diploma in Computer   Engg. in 1986 with 60 intake. The institute has also started two programmes   under Self Finance pattern; in the year 2001, it has started Diploma in   Information Technology with 60 intake and in 2003, Diploma in Electronics &   Communication with 60 intake. Thus to-day institute has total 685 intake   capacity including 180 in Distance Learning Mode in Civil, Mechanical and   Electrical – 60 in each.

         

The institute has its vision, mission and quality statement.   Its all regular programmes have been accredited by National Board of   Accreditation (NBA) New Delhi.

         

 

         

The institute has entered in its 50th year, a Golden Jubilee year.

Vallabh Vidyanagar is a unique   Educational Township situated in the heart land of the Gujarat State, where you   will find all kinds of Educational institutes from K.G. to University in one   campus having 2kms radius. It is 80 kms away from Ahmedabad towards south and 50   kms away from Baroda towards north. It is 5km away from Anand. The Anand is main   Railway Station. The Vallabh Vidyanagar township was established by Duo Late   Shri Bhailalbhai D.Patel and Bhikhabhai Kuberbhai Patel in the year 1946 with   the inspiration of Late Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.

                   

 

         

[ Our Management] The Charutar   Vidyamandal [CVM] is one of the largest education trust in Gujarat State, which   manages 40 institutions from Junior KG to higher education including three   engineering colleges. The trust was established in 1946 along with the birth of   Vallabh Vidyanagar. Great personalities like Bhaikaka (a renown Engineer , Dr.   H.M.Patel [ Former Home and Finance Minister, Govt. of India] served as Chairman   of CVM for long time. Dr. C.L.Patel is a present Chairman of CVM. He is in chair   since 1994. He is visionary, very effective , dynamic as well as devoted leader.   Under his tenure as Chairman, he has not only maintained the existing institutes   very well but started number of new courses in existing institutes and in   addition established number of new institutions in Vallabh Vidyanagar as well as   New Vallabh Vidyanagar. In fact New Vallabh Vidyanagar is a brain child of Dr.   C.L.Patel. Seven new institutes have been already established in New Vallabh   Vidyanagar including one engineering college [ADIT] and new Pharmacy (IPCOWALA)   and Ayurvedic colleges.
